Location: Dublin (Fully Remote, Ireland-based candidates only)
Salary: €90,000 – €100,000 DOE
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Visa: Stamp 1G / Stamp 4 welcome

Overview:
An Ireland-based product-led company is looking for a Principal .NET Engineer to help drive architecture and delivery across several critical platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing technical strategy with high-quality engineering execution.

Tech Snapshot:

• C# / .NET 6+

• ASP.NET Core, Web API, Microservices

• Azure (Functions, App Services, Key Vault, Azure SQL, Storage)

• Docker & CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)

• Entity Framework Core / Dapper

• REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI

• Git, Agile/Scrum

• Experience with distributed systems and system design at scale

Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture and design discussions across multiple .NET services

• Set and maintain engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, and automation

• Mentor a team of mid and senior-level developers

• Contribute directly to development, particularly around complex or high-impact systems

• Collaborate with product and DevOps teams to ensure efficient CI/CD and release cycles

• Drive technical decision-making and long-term system planning

Ideal Candidate:

• 8+ years of .NET experience, with at least 2 in a technical leadership or principal role

• Deep knowledge of the .NET ecosystem and cloud-native architecture (preferably Azure)

• Strong communicator, able to influence across teams and levels

• Confident making architectural trade-offs and simplifying complex systems

• Previous experience working fully remotely within a high-trust culture
